Sarah DevereauxFiguring out the next step in your career can be challenging at any stage. But, when you're in a senior leadership position, it can be excruciatingly difficult. There are so many questions:

    • Do I step up or step back?
    • Do I really know what I want, or am I living by someone else's rules?
    • Am I ready to take a bold step? Do I even know what "bold" looks like?
    • Am I prepared to make sacrifices to do what's truly best for me?
After serving in a variety of leadership positions at Google for nearly 10 years, Sarah Deveraux decided it was time to change course. In this ExecuNet Master Class session you will learn more about the process she used to reach this decision, the sacrifices she had to accept, and how the practices Google teaches its senior leaders through The Google School for Leaders helped guide her along the way.

Through this session, you'll learn strategies and practices for navigating your next career step centered around self and situational awareness, a cornerstone of The Google School for Leaders' leadership development philosophy, and more.
