About the Presenter:
Sarah Devereaux and her teammates are responsible for driving highly-strategic, long-term initiatives focused on company culture and improving the Google experience for all Google employees.Sarah’s depth of experience in operations, events, user experience, instructional design, communications, facilitation, and coaching make her uniquely qualified to design and manage projects that seek to improve the way Google employees experience the company as it continues to scale and evolve.
Sarah is a proud Michigander and a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She joined Google in 2006 in the Ann Arbor office and spent the majority of her Google career leading teams in the learning and development space before moving into a senior individual contributor role.
She’s held a variety of positions over the years, including: internal product training, external agency training, certification, evaluation, instructional design, and community building. Some of Sarah’s more recent roles included Head of Strategic Initiatives for The Google School for Leaders, Head of Executive Development Programs, and g2g Global Lead.
From 2011-2017 Sarah built Google’s “Googler-to-Googler” or “g2g” program from the ground up, turning it into a self-sustaining, volunteer teaching network that brings learning opportunities to tens of thousands of Google employees around the world, every year.
Sarah is passionate about communities, the environment, and her adorable daughter, Emma.
