About the Presenter:

Kathleen Nugent received her MSW degree from Hunter College, New York and is a LCSW in both New York and New Jersey.

Ms. Nugent is Director of Regional Programs at CancerCare and oversees program development for the New Jersey and Connecticut locations. She has been with CancerCare for over 34 years and is a member of the Association of Oncology Social Work (AOSW).

Kathy has additional training as a clinical instructor for the Post-Masters End-of-life Care Certificate Program at Smith College School of Social Work and the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program, Peer Leadership, New Jersey.

Kathy has lectured and presented at numerous workshops and conferences on the psychosocial impact of a cancer diagnosis regionally as well as nationally.
