Smith – O.C Tanner’s Vice President of Business Development and named as one of the “Ten Best and Brightest Women in the Industry” by Incentive magazine. In her master class, she shared groundbreaking and proven research that proposes a fresh leadership model focused not on engagement, but on employee “enrichment.”

She said that many of the strategies leaders have used for years isn’t nearly as effective, but the new path forward isn’t clear. Employees feel company engagement efforts are manipulative – that the company is doing something to them to get them to do something.

We are shifting to a people-led economy. It’s now a reality that people are our greatest asset. As a result, employees are less passive in the workplace than ever before. They want a voice.
