    I totally agree. I had kept a file of recruiters that had contacted me in the past and every so often would send an updated resume for their data base. I have forwarded on many of their searches to people that may be a fit ( and let them know). But I would honestly say that the only time a recruiter will be of benefit to you is IF they have a position you are a fit for.
