An executive job search requires a sales and marketing plan. That plan starts with a deep dive into what you bring to the table that is different from your competition. You’ve got to be able to articulate what problems you solve what you make happen. Weaving these answers with the commonalities of the challenges you’ve faced throughout your career is the heart of your sales and marketing plan.
Doing all that requires professional help…especially if you’re in sales and marketing because people are too close to themselves to be objective and see the story. We call that not being able to read the label from inside the bottle.
Listen to former recruiter and current ExecuNet career strategist Stacie Haller talk about how important sales and marketing is for executives in job search.
