Situations at companies change all the time and often very quickly. Your boss of decades could shock everyone by announcing he took another job and will be gone in two weeks. The company could be sold and new leadership is coming in – and that usually means changes. Or maybe the company’s direction shifts and you really aren’t a fan of the change.
The reasons are legion. The fact is being ready is vital, for success, finances, and piece of mind.
