No matter what’s going on in the country politically or economically, when you’re an executive, it’s always a tough job market.

Job search at the executive level is simply different than it is at the “transactional level.” Executives can’t use the same updated resume they were using since college. Executives can’t have a job search strategy that consists of little more than simply clicking “apply.”
