Even if you’re not in job search, you want recruiters in your network. You never know when you will be in search, and it’s way better to be connected before you are looking for a new opportunity. Use the recruiter to fill openings in your company, or send good people their way for searches they are working on. Do that and they will be much more responsive when you are the one who needs work.
