Main Street Leadership Lessons for the C-Suite

group of businessmen in the business center urban sceneAs part of our Business and Leadership Series we brought in one-of-a-kind leader Deke Copenhaver.

Deke served for nine years as mayor of the City of Augusta, Georgia, and has also held leadership positions in the private and non-profit sectors. Through his efforts, Deke was recognized by Georgia Trend Magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential Georgians seven times during his administration.

Disrupting politics as usual and applying a decidedly businesslike approach to local government helped Deke win three elections by an average of 64 percent of the vote, while at the same time helping to create thousands of new jobs and a sense of hope and optimism for local citizens during the midst of the Great Recession.

Check out the recording of this session of ExecuNet Master Class. Deke shares his unique perspective on how Main Street Leadership Lessons can be applied in the C-Suite to maximize organizational leadership and performance. Topics Deke will address include:

  • The City as StartUp: lessons for today’s business leader
  • How to develop a powerful “We First” mentality in organizations at all levels
  • Overcoming the challenges of leading during adversity, and much more

Don’t miss this remarkable session led by an extraordinary leader.
