About the Facilitator:

Mark Cory has over 30 years of business management experience. He has been owner/operator of Franchise Network (FranNet) Detroit since 2002.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Michigan in 1979, and spent three years as a CPA with Ernst & Whinney, auditing mostly privately held companies and not-for-profit organizations. He spent the next 20 years with Olympia Entertainment, Inc. in Detroit, where he attained the level of Senior Vice President. Olympia is the management company for Joe Louis Arena, Cobo Arena, the Fox Theatre, Hockeytown Cafe, Comerica Park and various restaurant and retail establishments. Over the years, Mark had responsibility for multiple disciplines, including finance, IT, marketing and sales, operations, human resources and new business development.

Mark is a member of the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce and its Small Business Advisory Council and Ambassador Committee, the Metro East Chamber of Commerce, Oakland Business Resource - Business Network International, and the Michigan Association of CPA's. He has served as a school board member, a pension fund trustee, and as a church and civic volunteer. Mark was elected by his peers and recently completed a two-year term on FranNet's Franchise Advisory Council (FAC), and over the years has received the 2002 "Rising Star" award, the 2007 and 2008 "Commitment to Excellence" award, and the 2008 "Top Performer" award.

As a franchise placement specialist with FranNet, Mark assists individuals in career transition on a daily basis. For those desiring to explore franchise ownership as a career alternative, he provides educational seminars and one-on-one consulting to strategically guide them through the search and selection process. With over 100 franchise opportunities to choose from in a multitude of industries and investment levels, Mark helps his clients find just the right fit based on their interests, goals, personality, skills and resources. His services are provided to clients on a no fee, no obligation basis.

Priscilla Archangel, Ph.D. is a human resources executive and leadership consultant with over 30 years of Fortune 10 business experience. She is also a coach, author, speaker, and teacher; and enjoys motivating others to discover and pursue their purpose and passions. She believes that "everything rises and falls on leadership", and has a passion for strengthening leaders, teams and organizations.

Priscilla has held a variety of HR leadership roles at General Motors where she worked closely with functions such as IT, engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing, aftersales, and finance. Her expertise includes leadership development, organizational design and development, employee engagement, performance management, culture change, change management, talent acquisition and management, HR operations, and HR policies and processes. She has worked with leaders at all levels and spheres of influence to develop and implement effective people strategies to support their business objectives.

She now consults with business leaders on strategic HR and organizational development initiatives, organizational communications, and culture; along with providing executive coaching, facilitating leadership training and delivering keynote speeches.

Priscilla holds a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Development from the Fielding Graduate University, and a Masters in Social Work Administration from The University of Michigan. She is the author of The Call to Faith Centered Leadership: Transformational Lessons for Leaders in Challenging Times, a compilation of 90 faith based leadership development lessons. She is also a certified speaker, coach and trainer with the John Maxwell Team.

She is a member of Inforum, the Automotive Women's Alliance Foundation, and the Society of Human Resource Management. Priscilla and her husband enjoy team teaching on topics related to marriage and faith, golfing, and reading.
