Getting to Know You: Eric Denis

eric-denisExecuNet member Eric Denis didn’t intend to go through a career transition. He expected to enjoy a full career in the military. But when that didn’t happen due to a knee injury, he had to begin thinking about how to transition into a future in the civilian workforce.

It took a bit of research and self-reflection to get Denis on the path to future success. “When I made the transition to civilian life, I used the structure I picked up from the service to identify what I thought were three areas that would probably never change,” he says. “If you can sell something, you’re probably never out of work. The financial industry is a marketplace that will always be around and you can do things in the technology and IT world – that’s where the world is going.”
