Where Executives Go for Career and Life-changing Advice

five-gold-starsWhen was the last time in your career that you experienced something that changed everything for you?

That’s what been happening for people who have been attending sessions of ExecuNet Master Class.

Here’s a look at some post class reactions we’ve received recently:

  • “Excellent overview of how job placement teams think and act.”
  • “Great, honest, straightforward helpful information and actionable insights.”
  • “This was one of the best classes I have attended. I liked Paul’s honesty and how he framed his responses.”
  • “I like the situational examples, actually being able to be in that person’s shoes and how to go about handling the situation.”
  • “Very motivational and uplifting! I suspect many of us in the audience are in the same boat – a bit isolated while entrenched in a job search.”
  • “This class has literally changed my very fundamental philosophy and approach to my life and the way I should or could relate to people that I know and those beyond.”
  • “Love the positive energy and practical advice.”

Hard to think anything but, “Wow! Those are some happy people! I want some of what they’re having!”

You can have what they’re having!

Those are just a small sample of the overwhelming number of positive comments we receive each week after a session of ExecuNet Master Class. When I see words like “excellent,” “uplifting,” “honest,” motivational,” “positive energy,” and “practical advice,” I know we’re getting it right. When I see “changed my approach to life” I know we’ve reached a higher level and are delivering on our promise to bring to our members advice they can trust to transform their executive lives.

Kudos to Master Class Host Tony Vlahos and his team for spearheading this effort to locate, connect with and develop such brilliant content!

Here’s what they have lined-up for you next month:

Overcoming  Biases and Other Challenges

Session Leaders: A powerhouse panel of executive coaches, recruiters, and career strategists

It can be extremely frustrating when you’re dedicated to a job search and it seems like circumstances beyond your control are against you. But there are approaches you can take to influence many important components within your control and get the interviews and offers you deserve. This Master Class is for you if you are concerned bias, stereotyping, or discrimination regarding your age, race, ethnicity, gender, pregnancy status, disability, politics, or religion could wreck your job search.

How to Run a Franchise While Keeping Your Corporate Job

Session Leader: Pete Gilfillan, nationally recognized franchise consultant

Learn how to keep your six-figure corporate income while setting up your path to build wealth and create true income security. People have escaped corporate “life” without giving up the paycheck. You too can become an entrepreneur while keeping your corporate position.

How to Get What You Want

Michelle Tillis Lederman, CEO of Executive Essentials

Michelle Tillis Lederman[/caption]The truth is we often need the actions of others to accomplish our goals. The best way to get what you want is to figure out why someone else wants you to have it. In this session, Michelle Tillis Lederman, author of The 11 Laws of Likability and The Connectors Advantage, will reveal the three reasons people take action and how to increase your aptitude of each technique. Join Michelle, one of Forbes’ Top 25 Networking Experts, and you’ll be well on your way to increasing your odds of hearing “YES!” more often.

Women Hold Up Half the Sky

Session Leader: Rachel Mushahwar, Intel Vice President and General Manager

Women make up half the world’s population and drive the majority of purchasing decisions in households. However, they are still underrepresented in the workforce, especially in technology and leadership positions. There has been some groundbreaking – and back-breaking – work done to close this gap, but we still need to accelerate the pace of this change. Attend this session to learn more about her career journey as a technical female leader and what we can all do to go faster and support, develop, and champion women in the workplace.

If you cannot make a live session, simply register and I’ll make sure we email the recording to you.

As I sign-off for the week, I wanted to share the words of Dawn Palmer, a longtime ExecuNet member and consistent attendee of ExecuNet Master Class:

“ExecuNet is the best organization for business Master Classes. The speakers are thought-provoking and leaders in their fields; ExecuNet is highly responsive to members and offers many resources and support!”
