We have to have big dreams,” said George Whitesides, CEO and president of Virgin Galactic, the space flight company founded by businessman Richard Branson. He told assembled World Innovation Forum in NYC delegates that “they’re the pathway to salvation, to solving the world’s biggest problems.”

Whitesides said that inspired him to join Virgin Galactic, a company started to realize the “dream to open space up to humanity. I think it will have a transformative experience on our planet, on our leaders and on all the people who live here.”
