ExecuNet Research Reveals Top Cities For Executive Job Growth
www.execunet.com – October 30, 2006 – Amid record highs for the Dow Jones Industrial Average, easing energy prices, and strong job growth, recent research conducted by ExecuNet, the leading executive career management and recruiting network, reveals New York, Chicago, and Boston generated the highest number of six-figure job opportunities during the first eight months of 2006.
According to analysis of over 15,000 job openings published between January 1, 2006 and August 31, 2006, the ten cities that created the highest number of executive-level opportunities accounted for less than one-quarter (24%) of all openings nationwide, they include:
