Recruiters' Confidence Continues To Climb 56% Of All Search Firms Plan To Add Staff To Keep Pace With Job Growth
www.execunet.com – December 14, 2005 – With assignments pouring in to the executive search industry, recruiters are growing more bullish in their outlook for the employment market. November's Recruiters Confidence Index (RCI), a monthly survey of executive recruiters conducted by ExecuNet, the executive job search and recruiting network, reveals the search industry is expecting a near-record level surge in hiring at the executive level to start the new year.
According to the survey of 130 executive recruiters, 75% are confident or very confident the executive employment market will improve during the next six months – up from 64% in October. In the six months ahead, the executive search industry is expecting a 29% increase in the number of assignments received from corporate clients.

"After a two month lull that followed the hurricanes and soaring energy prices, confidence in the executive employment market is once again approaching all time highs," says Mark Anderson, President of ExecuNet. This rebound has presented new challenges for recruiters and companies in search of top talent and many new opportunities for executives looking to make a job change."
To prepare for sustained growth in the executive employment market, 56% of all search firms have plans to hire additional professional staff in the next three months. During the past three months, 38% of search firms have added professional staff.
