With many companies still reluctant to add to their payrolls, demand for the highest paid executives fell sharply during the second quarter. For corporate leaders earning more than $250,000 and between $200,000 and $250,000, demand dropped 38% and 21% respectively. In the $150,000 to $199,000 salary range, demand was down 13%.
For executives earning $100,000 to $149,000, demand jumped 19%.
