After dropping sharply in the wake of the September 11th terrorist attacks (down 27% in 2002), executive demand in the NY Metro region is making a comeback, increasing 16% during the second quarter of 2003.
Also posting above average gains in executive demand during the quarter were the Midwest (7%), Mid-Atlantic (5%) and South/Southeast (4%) regions.
In the New England/Northeast region, executive demand was down 18% during the quarter. In the Southwest and West Coast regions, demand for executive talent decreased 3%. Executive demand in the Mountain States region was flat (0%) during the quarter.
